A more charitable take might be that conservatives tend to be community focused, active with their school boards and asking their State lawmakers to address issues, whereas liberal politics focus on nearly all issues being Federal issues for some reason.
The locus of control imbalance causes a tremendous amount of suffering.
That makes a lot of assumptions about the state.
