A good alternative is Listary v4[0] and Fluent-search[1]

Fun fact - Fluent search comes with vim-easymotion like navigation built in. Now beat that Microsoft!

Is there a Power Toy to turn off telemetry and ads?
Does 'O&O ShutUp10++' fit the bill perhaps?

Edit: I'm a grateful user since at least 5 years. Can't imagine Windows without it.

Never seen this, looks nice.

Quite the name though

The only feature I want from PowerToys is an application switcher like Spotlight / Alfred on macOS (not an application launcher).

Bug report has been open for years: https://github.com/microsoft/PowerToys/issues/5962

This could replace the start menu for me if it could bind to the Windows key. I can't undo decades of muscle memory.
You can't directly map it to the win key, but you can use the keyboard manager to remap one (or both) of the win keys to a shortcut you then assign to command palette https://u.numerlor.me/zRq6PA
Replacing PowerToys Run (Windows Finder) ... read hn's top articles from windows search. Salute to the pandering, I didn't use Run but looking forward to trying this out.
I've liked it so far. It is what the start menu search SHOULD be!
I don't understand why PowerToys is not part of the Windows OS and gets updated regularly.
