In some weird way, I hope Google fails and is dethroned.

Whenever I’m searching for a website, and my query is pretty close to the domain, it will show me the paid ad for the site first, not the organic result (which is also that same domain).

I always avoid the ad version.

It just rubs me the wrong way and feels slimy.

I’m thinking to myself, “you know that I meant OpenAI, it’s the first search result. There’s no reason to extract a click from that paid advertiser.”
