It's missing the best option for beginners: the UPduino[0]! It's a cheaper ($30) and more capable (39 GPIOs) alternative to the iCEstick or TinyFPGA BX. There's even a slightly more expensive variant with an onboard RP2040 microcontroller[1].

Glasgow isn't an FPGA development board. It has an FPGA in it, but it is explicitly not designed as a general-purpose board and would be poorly suited as one; get something else if that's what you're after.

That's really disappointing. I was toying with the idea of getting one myself. But if it's basically twice as expensive I'm not sure.
