It's also surprisingly cheap! RTL SDR kits go for about $40.

Is there a good way to get one from within the EU? They stopped shipping directly iirc.

Get them from Aliexpress instead. I think you can find both genuine RTL-SDR devices and of course all sorts of clones.

Some clones may also have better features and specs. I bought a clone RSP1 and it works very well.
