You know how when your local hospital gets bought out by a corp, and then everything starts to feel rushed and commoditized? AngelList already had an air of desperation, and this makes it feel like one last bloodthirsty hoorah to really scrape the last bit out of the jug before binning it.

Also, why is the text only displaying after I scroll past it? Just let me see the content.

I've actually had success with AngelList Talent in the past. I prefer the name change because I can never remember if there are two Ls or just one.
Ironically, https://www.welfound.com/ with one L appears to be a (much smaller) existing job platform - so good luck with your confusion, and have fun, lawyers!

In seriousness, on the hiring side I've found AngelList Talent to be one of the more solid sources of thoughtful, passionate candidates. As the entire tech sector, not just angel-adjacent stages, is transforming before our eyes, it's great timing that Wellfound is forging a broader identity. I hope the branding issues don't cause problems, because I hope to continue using the platform!

We couldn't be more dedicated to Wellfound. By spinning out from AngelList, we think we can hone in even more on our unique audience and elevate the product. There was a lot of friction from a shared brand and codebase from the investor side.
