I tried this once or twice but didn't understand what it was really accomplishing compared to just starting tmux normally. Mind me asking you to explain how you use it a little bit?
tmux panes and windows become native iTerm panes and windows. It allows you to open and split with the iTerm keyboard shortcuts you're used to ⌘N, ⌘T, ⌘D.

Make sure you use `tmux -CC` to launch

Scrolling just works natively, and you can use ^B inside vim.

(Maybe that's less of a big deal for people who are already tmux experts...)

I use iTerm integration over Eternal Terminal to my workstation all day. It’s great.
